JPEC, dispelling the myths about Air Source Heat Pumps.

As experts in Air Source Heat Pumps (AHSP), we hear a lot of myths and rumours about the subject. Most of this is spread by people who don’t know what they are talking about but have heard or read something they didn’t fully understand and are now telling everyone they meet an untruth as if it was gospel. Some of what we hear originates with either builders or other trades people who again aren’t in possession of the facts or it’s not in their interest to give you the correct information. We recently were talking to a client who had been told her house couldn’t have an ASHP by the same person who sold them and fitted a new gas boiler, not the impartial word they were looking for. It took our JPEC engineer no more than a few questions to establish an ASHP would have been perfect for them.

To correct this imbalance, JPEC are offering a great deal on the initial ASHP survey. The survey looks at the fabric of the building and assigns a rating to each room so that we can determine the suitability of your property for an ASHP along with the specifics of the ASHP you require. The survey is extensive, so we normally charge £500 for this service. However, if your property isn’t suitable for an ASHP there will be no charge and the survey is free. If your property is suitable the £500 fee applies. If you then proceed and purchase your ASHP system through JPEC, we will refund the £500 survey fee.

It’s a win win.
